What does incident tracking record?
Each incident is logged with its type (near miss, first aid, property damage, environmental or lost-time injury), the date and location it happened, the site it belongs to, its severity and a written outcome. As the investigation moves on you update the status and record how it was resolved, and the closing date is stamped when you mark it closed.
Do I need an account?
Yes, to save an incident — the record belongs to your workspace and your sites. Everything informational on this site, including the guides, the printable checklists and the authority directory, is open without an account.
Who can see my incidents?
Only people in your own workspace. Records never cross between organisations, and the incidents you list are the ones you reported yourself. Your workspace owners and admins are notified of what is recorded so they can follow it without checking the site.
Does this report the incident to an authority?
No. Notifying an authority is done through that authority's own channels within its own timescales. The workspace keeps your record, the dates, the severity and the resolution so you can show what happened and what was done about it.
