What is the DDA Site Compliance Folder?

A folder kept on site holding the documents Dubai Development Authority expects to inspect — emergency contacts, trade licence, valid building permit, consultant-approved site layout and HSE plan, risk assessments and method statements, scaffold designs and load calculations, the sub-contractor log, the safety officer's credentials and third-party equipment certificates.

Who signs the safety officer documents?

The project consultant approves the appointed safety officer, and the folder holds that approval alongside qualifications, training and experience certificates and a copy of a valid Emirates ID.

What equipment certificates are required?

Third-party safety certificates from an EIAC-accredited body for site plant and lifting equipment — tower cranes, material and passenger hoists, mobile cranes and mobile elevating work platforms among others — together with operator competency records.
