UAE Construction Evidence Matrix
Choose the emirate, the work activity and your role on the project. The matrix returns the documentary evidence a UAE construction job is expected to hold — what the item is, who owns it, what it traces back to, and what triggers a review. Every row is labelled so you can tell a legal requirement from good practice.

Scope and limits of this tool
This is a practical evidence-planning aid. It does not replace project-specific authority instructions, your contract obligations, or competent legal and HSE advice. Jurisdiction matters: a Dubai project inside a free-zone area may sit under Trakhees rather than Dubai Municipality, and sector regulators in Abu Dhabi set their own additional requirements. Always confirm the requirement against the current published text of the relevant authority document before relying on it in a tender or an audit.
