Safety supervision registration / approval for the appointed safety officer
Welfare layout (rest areas, drinking water, toilets) shown on the site plan

Activity permits you will need

Demolition permit, if demolition is in scope
Hoarding permit
Night work permit, if any work is planned outside normal hours
Excavation permit, if excavation is in scope
Environmental permit, with its monitoring conditions noted

Ready for inspection after approval

Risk assessments and method statements for the first activities
Permit-to-work system in place, with gas-test records for permits that need them
Drinking-water source, tank-cleaning and laboratory records
Incident notification and corrective-action process written down

Before you press submit (every authority)

Company name and trade licence number match the trade licence exactly
Trade licence, contractor registration and insurance are in date
Project name, plot number and permit references are the same on every document
Every document shows its revision number and the latest revision is attached
Documents that need a signature or stamp are signed, stamped and dated
Consultant approval is attached wherever a document needs it
Named people (safety officer, supervisor, consultant) have current contact details
Files are readable, correctly named and in the format the portal accepts
A copy of the full submission is saved in your own records
