You keep working. Past 500 actions each request is billed as pay-as-you-go instead of being blocked, so nothing stops mid-investigation.
Extra usage
$0.15 per extra action, with a hard safety cap of 2,000 extra actions per month. You see the running total live and it is charged to your subscription at month end.
